You are cordially invited to participate in and contribute to the "Tribochemistry Beppu 2023"which will be held on September 22 (Fri.) - 24 (Sun.), 2023 in the Beppu International Convention Center (Beppu B-Con Plaza) in Beppu, Oita, Japan.This is the 10th international forum on tribochemistry organized by The Tribochemistry Technical Committee, Japanese Society of Tribologists (JAST). It will be held as a satellite forum of ITC-Fukuoka.This international forum on tribochemistry has been held as a satellite forum of ITCs and WTCs since 1995: 1st.) 1995 in Tokyo, Japan, 2nd.) 2000 in Tsukuba, Japan, 3rd.) 2005 in Nara, Japan, 4th) 2009 in Kyoto, Japan, 5th) 2011 in Hagi, Japan, 6th) 2013 in Lyon, France, 7th) 2015 in Nikko, Japan, 8th) 2019 in Hakodate, Japan, and 9th) 2022 in Beaune, France.This forum will also be held under the cooporation of the Research Association for Computer Application to Catalysis, Catalysis Society of Japan (CatSJ).
It will offer invited and contributed presentations in oral and poster sessions. Those who present a paper are requested to submit an abstract by April 15th, 2023 in online via the website (which is active from Octover 15th, 2022, to April 15th, 2023). The presenter has to register with payment of the pesenter registration fee by the dedline of the presenter registration of April 30th, 2023. Deadline of Advance registration is July 1st, 2023. Participants are also encouraged to take part in the ITC-Fukuoka which will be held in Fukuoka on September 25 (Mon.) - 30 (Sat.), 2023, after the satellite forum . You can enjoy further the social events of the Beppu Jigokumeguri Tour (The Hell Tour) and the Mt. Aso - Kumamoto Castle Tour.

The Tribochemistry Award

The Tribochemistry Award has been established in 2019 for the scientists who made outstanding contributions to the science and technology in the field of tribochemistry, by the Tribochemistry Technical Committee (TTC), Japanese Society of Tribologists (JAST). The laureates of the award will gain the world’s highest honor in the field of tribochemistry. The award laureates areselected by the selection committee and then detemined by the Award Committe under the Tribochemistry Technical Committee, JAST. The award will be presented to them in the Award Celemony to be held in the banquet of Tribochemistry Beppu 2023.

"The Tribochemistry Award" has been decided to be presented to the following three tribochemsts, the details of which is described in the page of "Tribochemistry Award".
